Silverlight Revisited

Several months ago, I have mentioned about Silverlight in my post. In the past few weeks, we have been extensively researching and investigating the feasibility of Silverlight usage as reusable libraries or components. Many of scalability issues still existed in the latest releases such as those mentioned in my previous post. Hopefully MS dev can resolve these issues in the final version.

After a thorough research, our development team has recently come up with a result signaling a green light to go with Silverlight. This means we’re on the track with the latest Silverlight bits, and you can expect a breakthrough Silverlight control scheduled in 2008 R1.

More detailed roadmap for 2008 R1 and future will be published to Developer Network shortly. Stay tuned!

All the best,
Jimmy.
